Performance |

From DataObjects.Net Wiki

Earlier there was a large article comparing performance of DataObjects.Net, Entity Framework and plain SqlClient. But as many of you know, recently we launched ORMBattle.NET, where ORM tools are compared by performance and quality of LINQ implementation they provide. Right now DataObjects.Net does not participate in comparison there - we decided to remove it to reduce the heat over ORMBattle.NET. Many people were suspecting tests there are biased or simply designed for DataObjects.Net. We hope now we proved this is wrong, so likely, DataObjects.Net will be back there by the end of this week. If you'd like to study the results right now, you can find them here (in plain text, only Entity Framework and NHibernate are included into the comparison). |
